Hey! I wrote a song like this!!! Woah...that's crazy.

Verse 1-
Stuck in this lab'rinth--my own making.
Where to turn? My knees are shaking.
I'm stuck, I'm lost in this place.
My conflict--the beast I face.
It's my deep conviction within
against flesh's desire for sin.

Chorus-
In the dark I raise my head,
it's You who gave me the thread,
that showed me how to be free
of this cursed monster of me.

My human desires
scorch like a fire;
they come from the gaze
of that beast of my maze.
Show me how to be free
of this monster of me!

Verse 2-
This fearsome flesh-eating beast you see--
my very own flesh consuming me.
I'm pulled between wrong and right,
ending this maze--out of sight.
"Please!" I scream. "Help me find my way
and let me fly so far away.
(chorus)

Bridge-
And I'll sore with wings if you'll show me how,
'cause I'm going to follow your lead now.
Show me how to be free,
to escape from this monster of me.
